Are you stuck at average? Somewhere between “just okay” and “finally figured it out”? Maybe you’ve plateaued below your potential? 

Many people have, and they have no idea how to get unstuck. My many years of coaching has shown me that if you are stuck at average, it’s not because of your average market; it's because of your average thinking in your market. Your approach to your prospects is underwhelming and underperforming. 

This lack of performance prompts the desire to move upmarket to increase business. Advisors want to change teams rather than change tactics. They would rather go upmarket than think upmarket and upward to help their market do more. The problem is that changing your entire market and approach is very challenging and slow. You must become someone else to serve somebody else. 

There is an easier and faster way though: Rather than rebuild your business, rethink your approach to your business. Don’t underestimate what your prospects will do when they understand what is possible. And don’t underestimate what they will spend to achieve the results they want either. Don’t suppose that they don’t want their promises to their families to last as long their family does, not just as long as they do. Help them understand what they can do if money were no object so they can adjust what they will do based on their budget. 

You see, rethinking rather than rebuilding your business will dramatically multiply your results faster and more easily. You can be awesome in an average market - if you treat them awesomely.
